The Chronicle Of The Six Eras Part 2.2

“Go back, and within three days, she will wake up, but for this young girl, you don’t have to be overly disciplined and harsh. Just let her be, but when the time for her departure comes, don’t come in her way. Everything is fate! “

After that, Yao Guangxiao stopped speaking.  Sun Jingzhi got up, bowed to Yao Guang Xiao, and then left. In a small green brick courtyard, light rain fell, and under the vines, a little boy looked sad gazing at the empty swing, bowed his head and blamed himself.

“Master Sun, the second madam is here. Please go in. ” A little girl in a double snail bun and purple flowered coarse cloth skirt stood not far away and whispered softly.

The little boy raised his eyes and questioned the little girl : “Ziyan, has my sister woken up yet?”

The little girl named Ziyan raised her head quietly, without opening her eyes, the tears accumulated in her eyes already explained everything, the little boy sighed and finally walked into the house. The scholarly family of the Sun family had a low official position and weren’t a big family, but because of their willingness to be benevolent and kind, it can be regarded as a family of prestige in the city of Zouping.

Inside the veil curtain, you can vaguely see the little girl who is lying quietly on the bed. Since her eyes are shut tightly, one can no longer see her beautiful eyes and smile. But her delicate skin, the laid-back look and the inexplicable lightness of her face could be said to be an inexhaustible delicacy.  Seated on the bedside was her mother, the second madam of the Sun family, and the wife of Sun Jingzhi, Dong Susu, who was watching the girl silently with tears in her eyes.

“Auntie, has sister not woken up yet?” The little boy looked worried even anxious. Susu shook her head. She was a versatile young woman who was proficient in chess, poetry, calligraphy, painting, manners, singing, dance, piano, flute, embroidery, and so she was famous for being well versed in the “ten abilities”.  In the past, she was uniquely endowed with poetry, and she chose Jingzhi by herself through correspondence. After their marriage, when the two met each other, they were very happy. They only had one daughter but Jingzhi never showed any displeasure. But Susu knew that deep in his heart that even though Sun Jingzhi was not the eldest son, and the family had already had the eldest grandson of Jizong, he still hoped that he could add another son to the Sun family.

Maybe I was too greedy, she thought, begging early and late, burning incense and praying every day, and finally rejoicing again not long ago, but before I had time to be happy, my daughter Ruowei, my treasure, fell into the water when she was playing. Although she was quickly rescued, she had been drowsy and unconsious for a while. Susu was extremely anxious and secretly in deep melancholy. If she was destined to have only one child in this life, please save Ruowei, thought Susu as she caressed her still flat belly with her hand.

At this moment, she made up her mind. Although Ruowei was a daughter, she was her only child. If she was separated from, how could she live alone? She took up the hand of the little boy and spoke: “Ji Zong, look after Ruowei for me. Auntie will leave for a while. “Jizong nodded sensibly: “Auntie has been taking care of sister for several days, and it is time to go back to the room to have some rest. Jizong will take care of sister, so please rest assured, Auntie! “

Susu smiled bitterly, just lightly stroked Jizong’s head, then turned and left. She walked like an immortal, moving her lotus feet lightly, but every step felt like a giant, heavy and painful. God, I will give up what in my belly. I just ask you to protect Ruowei. Two lines of tears slowly fell from her eyes, and she walked out of the door to her yard. Every step is difficult, but very determined as well. Suddenly she heard a noise in the room behind her; the maid Ziyan came runnign out panickedly “Second Madam, the young miss…young miss has woken up!”

“Really?” Susu wiped away the tears on her face with her kerchief. A burst of ecstasy overtook her heart, and immediately rushed in. However, everything that came into her view immediately made her more fearful. The daughter woke up, but why did her eyes look so frightened? She pushed away her inseperable cousin Jizong who had been with her since she was a child, and also pushed away her maid Ziyan, and refused every embrace and bit of concern. She asked coldly: “Where am I? Who are you?” With just this one sentence, Susu’s heart froze.  She, who was well versed in medical science and pharmacology struggled to confirm her own daughter’s memory loss.
